7 Competitive advantage - PM module
The PM Module (Plant Maintenance) specifically addresses service workshops’ activities – it includes the main SAP modules (MM, SD, FI, CO). Their functionalities translate into configurations of:
- Data base management - technical items: equipment, workstations, partners, employees; - Functionalities related to guarantees, conditions specific to documents;
- The flow of documents that is related to service workshop activities (notification, service orders and selling parts, confirmations for work that is being done, external services)
Implementing the PM module comes with the posibility to:
- Accurately manage databases of customers, their vehicles, employees servicing;
- Plan coming of vehicles scheduled for checks with minimal time resources needed while at the same time monitor and assign activities to employees and workstations (highlighting of specific indicators: employee, workstation and service workflow level);
